WORKSHOPS

Please bring your own detailing pens, adhesives, scissors, paper trimmers, inks, chalks, eyelet tools, and additional tools as noted with individual class descriptions. If you do not have any of the supplies needed for class or forget to bring them, we will be happy to assist you in purchasing them at the time of class Classes range in levels of difficulty. Because of this, depending on the individual, you may or may not be able to complete the project during class time. Detailed instructions and color copies will be provided to assist you in finishing the project outside of class. Levels are indicated in class descriptions.

"Heritage Workshop II" - $75 with THE Scrappy Sisters
March 30th	Noon-5pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
The Sisters are back with even more elaborate pages than the first two heritage workshops. You will complete 5 double page layouts filled with lace, buttons, antique prints and unusual findings. These beautiful layouts are a perfect compliment to the first and second workshops. Please come join us for a day of fun and beautiful artwork you will be proud to display your family photos on. In respect to those attending class, no kits may be picked up until June 30th if not attending class.

"Pieces of the Past-Mother's Day Pocket" - $35 with Sheila Rumney
April 6th	1-4pm	Level: Intermediate
Shelia has created a beautiful garland combining vintage papers, vintage finds & distressing new items to create this nostalgic décor of days gone by. This garland will fill your home with LOVE.

"Seasonal Concepts - Easter Workshop" - $30 with Diane Wampler
April 12h	1-5pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Last year you loved the THREE double page Easter layouts so much that we are bringing the workshop back by popular demand. You’ll have so much fun in this class, creating “The Hunt Is On”, “Coloring Eggs is Egghausting” and “Ewe & Me”. All three layouts have paper piecings you can create from scratch or use the color copies that will be supplied during class.

"I Do Wedding Album" - $60 with Ali Gripp
April 26th	1030am-230pm	Level: Intermediate
Do you need the perfect gift for a couple getting married or do you want an elegant mini album to showcaseyour favorite wedding moments? Come and create this elegant wedding album using the Rusty Pickle 8 x8 album and Princess Bride collection. Full of elegance and class, add splashes of your wedding colors to finish off this beautiful album.

"Families of a Feather Family Tree Album" - $100 with Susanne Bergman
April 27th	Noon - 5pm	Level: Intermediate
Join Susanne to create a family heirloom starring the entire flock of your family. The book begins with a quilt like family tree with each member illustrated in the form of a bird appliqué. Pages will include the child, siblings, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts & uncles with the last page highlighting either cousins or children depending on the age/ status of the subject at the focus of the family tree. If you don’t have photos or information for all of the flock members listed above you can alter specific member pages to that of a traditional scrapbook page and use it to display any prized family photos, mementos or stories. The color scheme and embellishments on the layouts will make it easy to understand who each family member is and where they fit in the family tree. This is sure to become a treasured heirloom to become part of your family’s legacy for future generations.

"Graduation Album" - $45 with Sheila Rumney
May 9th	630-930pm	Level: Intermediate
Come and celebrate your graduate by creating this graduation mini album, filled with quotes, pockets and place for lots of pictures and memorabilia. We will be combining pattern paper, cardstock, ribbons and embellishments to complete this graduation keepsake.

"7 Gypsies Carousel Workshop" - $50 with Linda Jones
May 10th	1-5 pm	Level: Intermediate
Linda saw this 7 Gypsy ATC Carousel at the California CHA trade show and couldn’t wait to come home and share the fun with all of you. She has designed 25 darling file cards using lots of unique embellishments and a variety of fun papers. Your family pictures are so darn cute on the little file cards and you can keep the carousel on your desk and spin through all the cards. This is a great conversation piece and tons of fun to make.

"Charm School" - $65 with Kara Ward and Ali Gripp
March 29th	630-10pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Join Ali and Kara for this soldered charm wonderland. They are thrilled to be teaching these classes and can't wait to show you how---charming they are!. These will be small intimate workshops filled with personal attention and lots of fun! These classes will cover the basics of soldering and we will work our way to more difficult soldering creations. In these workshops you will come away with at least two charms and the knowledge to start creating your own. Register early - as seating limited to a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 14. The first workshop includes a special surprise. Be sure to look for the samples.

"To Love & To Cherish Wedding Album" - $100 with Susanne Bergman
May 18th	Noon-5pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
"Versatility" describes this TWENTY page album which will make the ultimate wedding gift or will be the perfect place to display those long neglected wedding photos. All designs include shades of white, black and ivory so this scrapbook will display any color scheme perfectly. Album is included in the price of the class and versatile page topics will include: "Will You?", "Our Bridal Party", "Just Married", "Honey Moon", "Going to the Chapel", "Showered with Love", etc.

"Pieces of the Past-Wedding Memories" - $35 with Sheila Rumney

Whether you are the blushing bride or celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary, this banner is sure to capture your special day. We will be combining vintage looking embellishments, wedding ribbons, trims and pearls to create this beautiful wedding keepsake. Due to the unique vintage finds being used in this workshop, these vintage treasures may be different than pictured in sample.

“Pieces of the Past-Patriotic Decor” - $35 with Sheila Rumney
June 8th	1-4pm	Level: Intermediate
Hooray for the Red, White and Blue! We will be combing pattern paper, vintage patriotic images, glitter, tulle, and vintage embellishments to create a firecracker banner that is sure to be the “blast” of your patriotic décor. Due to the unique vintage finds being used in this workshop, these vintage treasures may be different than pictured in sample.

"That's Charming" - $40 with Kara Ward and Ali Gripp
June 13th	630-830pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Join Ali and Kara in this step up from Charm School Basics. In this workshop you will be making more advanced creations. You will create at least 2 charms in this class each session. Also in this workshop you will be working with other mediums of jewelry making. Including working with UTEE and a fantastic jewelry line that we purchased. This class is sure to be a hit so register early. Seating is limited to a maximum of 12 students and minimum of 6.

"Sea to Shining Sea" - $45 with Ali Gripp
June 14th	1-5pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Ali is famous for her Patriotic Albums. Her last patriotic albumwas presented to Sgt.Gilyeat as part of ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover . It is proudly displayed on his library shelf along with his other precious military memorabilia! Ali always amazes us with her secret pockets and darling tags along with stuffing her albums with tons of embellishments.

"Altered Baseball Book" - $30 with Susanne Bergman
June 22nd	1-4pm	Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Join Susanne to create the ultimate in baseball memorabilia. The book is created from an actual baseball! In this class you will construct the cover, create and embellish the pages and take home a finished altered baseball book complete with ball stand! If you choose you can even bring your photos to crop and then you'll walk away with a truly major league accomplishment! This will look perfect on Dad's desk, the mantle at home or proudly displayed in your athlete's room...not to mention my son's coach absolutely flipped when he was presented one as a "Thank You Gift".
